According to Astrology what is “Fate” and “Karma”?

What is Fate!!!


Is there a thing called fate? Or is it a screen behind which the clever, the unlawful, the weak-willed persons conceal their wrong doing by holding God or Karma responsible for their faults? Is fate a way of shedding responsibilities and claiming redressal for wrong doing by explanations that “Nature” or “Fate” compelled them to do what they did? Let’s look into this problem in the light of following facts:

• The universe is complicatedly arranged and diligently run functioning. The operations run evenly because every component of this vast operation is assigned a specific task(s). Each human birth takes place to carry out its devoted task in accordance with its Karma. This allocation of task(s) is “Fate” or “Destiny”.

• If events are not being determined in advance, they cannot be forecasted. The fact that something, some event, due to take place at a future date, can be predicted, gives credence to the existence of “Fate”.

• The circumstances and the environment of the house where one is born are pre-determined. To be born with a silver spoon in the mouth or in poor, poverty-laden circumstances is “Fate” or “Destiny”.

Conclusion: There is a force, call it what you may, that shapes human lives. Hindu Astrology takes a giant intellectual step and identifies this force as Karma. The present is conditioned by the past Karma and the Karma, which we do in the present, shapes our future.

 

What is the Karma theory!!!


The Vedas teach us “Do Not Fear” because our God bless us in “Abhaya Mudra” which is fearless posture. Upanishads tells us “Moksha is not for Cowards”. We fear death, we fear misfortune, we fear the unknown and we fear everything. Karma theory puts things in a perspective where we begin to realize that we are the part of a properly conceived, meticulously planned and brilliantly executed “grand design”. We are acting out our roles as sketched out by the great designer.
The karma theory rests on three pillars and they are:
• Reincarnation
• Man’s inescapable propensity to do Karma; an action less existence is not possible.
• Fruits of action have to be enjoyed/suffered. That is the only way in which the cycle of action and its results gets spent.

A man inevitably enjoys the good or bad results of his Karma, unspent they do not decrease even in eons.
These 3 pillars very subtly but in a very perceptible fashion encourage the human beings to grip up and fight the “fear” and attain “Moksha”, without reincarnation there can b no Astrology. For Astrology is merely reading the karmic patterns which has a link with the past life(s) and also with the future life(s).

The karmic pattern is woven skillfully in a horoscope, so as to indicate the balance of Karma that he native is carrying as well as his mission or task in this life. How is it done?

Let us see-

All of us are “a replica” of Universe. The five elements, fire, water, earth, air and ether (A very improper word for Aakash element) Constitutes the universe and we are also an amalgam of these five elements. It, therefore, stands to reason that we are a small part of a Grand Design, place in the fashion so that we can make our contribution. Each one of he humans has desires and wishes to fulfill them. Each one of us is motivated differently and reacts in a different manner to a given situation. It is outer manifestation of the Karmic pattern and the inner motivations to exhaust the fruits of past Karmas and to do Karma that lead to emancipation is seen in a horoscope when we divide it into four parts as under:

In a horoscope houses 1st, 5th, 9th are the houses of Dharma; 2nd, 6th,10th are the Artha houses, 3rd, 7th, 11th are the Kama houses and 4th, 8th 12th are the Moksha houses.

The signs and planets occupying and influencing these houses indicate the Karma patterns. If the majority of planets are in Artha and Kama houses, the native’s inclinations and motivations are oriented in that direction. He has desires (Kama) and the money (Artha) and if they match at the right time in the native’s chronological growth, he can enjoy then to the full. Chaitra Navratri 2022: Know Ghat establishment, auspicious time and worship method

 

Chaitra Shukla Pratipada is considered a special festival to worship Mother Jagdamba, the presiding deity of Shakti. According to religious scriptures, on this day Brahma ji created the universe, this year Chaitra Navratri is starting from April 2, which will last for 9 days. The period from Chaitra Shukla Pratipada to Navami will be dedicated to the worship of Goddess Jagdamba, the presiding deity of Shakti. It is called Vasantik or Chaitra Navratri in the scriptures.

 

Mahanisha Puja:-

 

 

There is a method to perform Mahanisha Puja on the eighth day of Saptami. Nishith Vyapini Ashtami Yoga is being met on the night of 8th April in which Mahanisha Poojan etc. will be done.

Maha Ashtami fast will be kept on 9th April while Chaitra Shukla Navami is on 10th April till 12.08 pm. On this day, with the fasting of Mahanavami and Shri Ramnavami, the Praktyotsav of Shri Ram will be celebrated in the afternoon. Navratri will be done on 10th April and Navratri fasting will be done on 11th April.

Arrival and Departure way:-

 

 

It is said in the scriptures:-

“Shashisurye Gajarudha, Shanibhoume Turangme.”

“Guro Shukre Cha Dolayam, Budhe Nauka Prakritta.”

This means, if the first day of Navratri is Sunday or Monday, then the mother comes riding on an elephant, if the first day is Saturday or Tuesday then the mother comes riding on a horse, if the first day is Thursday or Friday, then the mother comes from the palanquin. If the first day is Wednesday, then the mother comes in a boat and in the same way the mother travels on a buffalo on Sunday and Monday, on a rooster on Tuesday and Saturday, on an elephant on Wednesday and Friday and on a human shoulder on Thursday.

Ghat Establishment Vela:-

 

 

The morning Vela is considered auspicious for establishing Ghat. Auspicious time is coming from Ghatyadi 06|17 day (08:22) on 02 April 2022. There is a prohibition on the beginning of Navratri in Vaidhriti Yoga. Therefore, Kalash establishment worship can be done before 08:22 in the morning or in Abhijinmuhurta (days 11:35 to 12:25).

On the special day of Chaitra Shukla Pratipada, one should invoke Brahma ji after taking regular ritual bath in the morning, taking scent, intact, flowers and water in his hand. Should be worshiped with remedies of Arrival with Padya, Arghya, Achaman, Bath, Clothing, Yagyopaveet, Gandha, Akshat, Flowers, Incense, Deep, Naivedh, Tambul, Namaskar, Wreath and prayer etc.

From the new Panchang, hearing the results of the new year’s king, minister, army chief, Dhanadhip, Durgadhip, Samvatsar Niwas and Faladhip etc., the place of residence should be decorated with flag and pylon etc.

शक्ति की अधिष्ठात्री माता जगदंबा की आराधना का विशेष पर्व चैत्र शुक्ल प्रतिपदा माना गया है धर्म शास्त्रों के अनुसार इसी दिन ब्रह्मा जी ने सृष्टि की रचना की थी इस वर्ष चैत्र नवरात्र २ अप्रैल से शुरू हो रहा है जो कि पूरे ९ दिन चलेगा चैत्र शुक्ल प्रतिपदा से नवमी तक की अवधि शक्ति की अधिष्ठात्री माँ जगदंबा की साधना-आराधना को समर्पित रहेगा इसे शास्त्रों में वासंतिक या चैत्र नवरात्र कहा गया है।

महानिशा पूजन सप्तमी युक्त अष्टमी में करने का विधान है निशीथ व्यापिनी अष्टमी योग ८ अप्रैल की रात्रि को मिल रहा है जिसमें महानिशा पूजन आदि किया जाएगा, महाअष्टमी व्रत ९ अप्रैल को रखा जाएगा वहीं चैत्र शुक्ल नवमी १० अप्रैल की रात्रि १२ बजकर ०८ मिनट तक है इस दिन महानवमी व श्री रामनवमी के व्रत के साथ दोपहर में श्री राम का प्राकट्योत्सव मनाया जाएगा, नवरात्रि का होम आदि १० अप्रैल को किया जाएगा व नवरात्र व्रत का पारण ११ अप्रैल को किया जाएगा।

शास्त्रों में कहा गया है:-

 

“शशिसूर्ये गजारुढ़ा, शनिभौमे तुरंगमे।”
“गुरौ शुक्रे च डोलायाम, बुधे नौका प्रकीर्तिता।।”

 

अर्थात नवरात्र के प्रथम दिन रविवार या सोमवार हो तो माता हाथी पर सवार होकर आती हैं, यदि प्रथम दिन शनिवार या मंगलवार हो तो माता घोड़े पर सवार होकर आती हैं, प्रथम दिन गुरुवार या शुक्रवार हो तो माता पालकी से आती हैं, प्रथम दिन बुधवार हो तो माता नौका पर सवार होकर आती हैं तथा इसी प्रकार माता का गमन रविवार व सोमवार को भैंसा पर, मंगलवार व शनिवार को मुर्गा पर, बुधवार व शुक्रवार को हाथी पर और गुरुवार को मानव कंधे पर होता है।

घट स्थापना के लिए प्रातः वेला शुभ मानी गयी है ०२ अप्रैल २०२२ को घट्यादि ०६|१७ दिन (०८:२२) से वैधृति योग आ रहा है, वैधृति योग में नवरात्रारम्भ का निषेध है अतः कलश स्थापना पूजन प्रातः ०८:२२ के पूर्व या अभिजिन्मुहूर्त्त (दिन ११:३५ से १२:२५) में किया जा सकता है।

श्री कृष्ण ने अर्जुन को दिया था देवी माँ की आराधना का निर्देश:-

चैत्र शुक्ल प्रतिपदा तिथि विशेष पर प्रातः नित्य कर्मादि-स्नानादि कर हाथ में गंध, अक्षत, पुष्प, जल लेकर संकल्पित होकर ब्रह्मा जी का आवहान करना चाहिए आगमन, पाद्य, अर्घ्य, आचमन, स्नान, वस्त्र, यज्ञोपवीत, गंध, अक्षत, पुष्प, धूप, दीप, नैवेध, ताम्बूल, नमस्कार पुष्पांजलि व प्रार्थना आदि उपचारों से पूजन करना चाहिए, नवीन पंचांग से नव वर्ष के राजा, मंत्री, सेनाध्यक्ष, धनाधीप, दुर्गाधीप, संवत्सर निवास और फलाधीप आदि का फल श्रवण, निवास स्थान को ध्वजा, पताका व तोरण आदि से सुशोभित करना चाहिए।
